Match Preview: Liverpool vs Real Madrid (Tuesday, 21st February 2023, 20:00)
Our Expert: James - @MaccasValueBets
The big game tonight is Liverpool versus Real Madrid, featuring two major clubs in world football. Liverpool will be looking for retribution after Ancelotti's team dismantled them in last year's Champions League final with an early second-half goal from VinĆcius JĆŗnior.
VinĆcius JĆŗnior is starting again tonight, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him score or assist a goal on the counter. The best price for that is 3.0 on Betfair (they've boosted it from 2.5).
Madrid is currently second in La Liga with 16 wins, 3 draws, and 3 losses, while Liverpool has had a very poor season, having won 10, drawn 5, and lost 7.
Klopp's men are coming into this game off the back of two wins against Everton and Newcastle. However, for me, there needs to be much more evidence of a turnaround in form before I consider Liverpool to be decent favorites against Madrid.
Liverpool's midfield has looked poor in general, and the likes of Kroos, Modric, and Valverde should be able to pick them apart and provide the service for Karim Benzema, who is expected to return to action tonight.

Tuesday night will see Liverpool and Real Madrid lock horns once again in the first leg of their last 16 tie, a repeat of the 21-22 UCL final. Madrid came out on top that day 1-0, but these two sides have had worrying signs of form for the first half of this campaign going into this fixture.
The bet I will be taking on this game is Virgil Van Dijk over 71.5 passes @5/6 available on Bet365. The Dutch captain returned the side on the weekend, and I expect him to complete another 90 minutes here, vital for a passing bet. Van Dijk has completed 70 or more passes in 14 out of the 17 Premier League games where he has played the full game, averaging 78.3 passes per game. This average drops to 64.5 in the UCL and he has only managed this line in 2/6 games, but I still feel it's worth taking on.
Ancelotti has had great success vs Liverpool in his 3 matches as Real Madrid boss over the past few years, and I expect the same tactics to be deployed once again in the form of a deep block especially as they are away from home. The away side could be without Toni Kroos and Karim Benzema so getting away from Anfield unscathed with a weakened side could be part of the plan, with the focus on getting a result in Madrid. If the game pans out as I expect, Virgil Van Dijk should get many passing opportunities in the Liverpool defence, making this 5/6 passing angle appeal Tuesday evening.
š Best Bet: Virgil Van Dijk Over 71.5 Passes @ 1.83 (Bet 365)
Match Preview: Monaco vs Leverkusen (Thursday, 23rd February 2023, 17:45)
Our Expert: Tom - @WinchySFP
Monaco and Leverkusen played out a thriller last week in Germany, the French side ran out 3-2 winners at the BayArena and Iām expecting another entertaining affair at Stade Louis on Thursday night.
The hosts have seen 48 goals scored at home in just 12 league games this season. Philippe Clermontās side have scored in every home game expect one this campaign which came all the way back in September.
Leverkusen have plenty of attacking talent, but defensively theyāre vulnerable. Xabi Alonsoās side have kept just a single clean sheet in seven since the return which came against a poor Bochum side.
Monaco themselves have struggled to earn clean sheets in recent weeks, Brest and Clermont are the only sides who have failed to score against Monaco since the break.
With two sides who are far better at scoring goals rather than keeping them out, itās hard to not see a high scoring 90 minutes here. We could see another exciting shootout, especially with the visitors chasing the tie.
š Best Bet: Over 2.75 Goals @ 1.94 (Bet 365)
Match Preview: Manchester United vs Barcelona (Thursday, 23rd February 2023, 20:00)
Our Expert: Scott - @scottythorn21
Manchester United host Barcelona in the second leg of one of the most highly-anticipated Europa League clashes in history. The first leg certainly lived up to expectations. Both sides looked to attack whenever possible and it resulted in an end-to-end game of football.
Erik Ten Hag was bullish after the game. The Dutchman thought his United side should have secured the win to take back to Old Trafford. United will attack again here and Iām expecting a clash that lives up to its billing.
United were menacing in their match against Leicester at the weekend. They looked frail defensively in the first half but were a constant threat going forward. They were on the front foot for almost all of the second-half and had 26 shots on their way to a 3-0 victory. They had an xG of 4.47 when the final whistle blew. Leicester had an xG of 1.63 and had 19 attempts.
The first leg of this tie saw 36 shots so the match shot line is appealing here. Manchester Unitedās last 10 matches are averaging 29.5 shots per game. Barcelonaās are averaging just 22.4 but most sides are more reluctant to attack Xaviās team. Ten Hag has made it abundantly clear that his team will go for the jugular on Thursday night.
Monaco themselves have struggled to earn clean sheets in recent weeks, Brest and Clermont are the only sides who have failed to score against Monaco since the break.

Match Preview: Millwall vs Burnley (Tuesday, 21st February 2023, 19:45)
Pete is looking to continue his perfect record on the newsletter and has provided us with a bet away from the European competitions.
Our Expert: Pete (@Pete_Tscherewik)
Burnley take on Millwall at The Den on Tuesday in what promises to be a mouth-watering encounter. The Clarets are 11-points clear at the top of the table while the hosts are 7th, sat just outside the playoff places on goal difference.
Nathan Tella was brought in on loan from Southampton last summer and he has hit the ground running in the Championship. The 23-year old has scored 12 league goals to make him the Claretsā top goalscorer and the joint-third highest in the division.
Tella has hit over 1.5 shots in each of his last five appearances (all starts) and in 16 of the 22 games he has started in the league in 2022/23.
Burnley average 12.5 shots per game (8th highest) and Tella averages 2.5 shots per 90 minutes. Vincent Kompanyās side have only failed to score in one game this season and no side has scored goals than them across the campaign either.
š Best Bet: Nathan Tella Over 1.5 Shots & Burnley 0.5 Goals @ 2.25 (Bet 365)
