Match Preview: Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal (Saturday, 20th May 2023, 17:30)
Our Expert: @punters_corner_
After a 3-0 hammering against Brighton, Arsenal travel to the City Ground to face 16th placed Nottingham Forest. Forest are 3 points above the relegation zone with 2 games left and will be hoping to take at least a point here with Arsenal seemingly having not much to play for with Man City ready to wrap up the title on Sunday.
I am expecting Forest to line up with a back 3 as they tend to do against the big teams. Felipe is likely to play in the middle of the back 3 for Forest. In the 4 matches he has played there he has hit 19,22,27,22 passes. Forest won’t be looking to play out from the back and will be focusing on being defensively secure. Arsenal are one of the highest pressing teams in the league and will be dominating possession in this game whilst Forest will look to try to catch Arsenal out on the counter attack.

Match Preview: Liverpool vs Aston Villa (Saturday, 20th May 2023, 15:00)
Our Expert: @TipsterJWins
Liverpool play host to Aston Villa Saturday afternoon as the reds continue to finish the season strongly with an outside chance of a top 4 spot. Following 7 wins on the bounce they are 1.4 favourites for this fixture with Unai Emery’s side 6.00. With that being said I will be avoiding the 1x2 market and instead opting for a player shots bet.
Our focus is on the revitalised Trent Alexander Arnold, with SkyBet offering 11/8 for him to have 2 shots. The Liverpool right back has been subject to a tactical tweak allowing him to drift into midfield when the reds have possession of the ball, allowing him to use his attacking capabilities more often. He has managed 6 assists and 13 shots (one goal) in his short time in this new role (8 games) which is a big spike in his attacking numbers. The 11/8 price for him to have 2 or more shots suggests a 42% chance of success which I think is a price worth taking all things considered. It has landed in both recent home games where he managed 3 shots in each in games Liverpool were similarly priced.
👉 Best Bet: Trent Alexander-Arnold 2+ shots @11/8 (SkyBet)
Match Preview: Westerlo vs Standard Liege (Saturday, 20th May 2023, 17:15)
Our Expert: @BelgiumBets
The season is more or less over for both teams.
Standard still has a very small chance of overcoming AA Gent to grab the European ticket but for this to happen AA Gent has to lose all three remaining playoff games while Standard has to win all three. So mission impossible and Standard will realise this as well.
Standard also lacking any form of consistency at the moment. In the playoffs they always did play one amazing strong half, just to crawl backwards and collapse in the second half.
Westerlo’s goal balance in the playoffs summarises more or less the team Westerlo is. After 3 games they scored 6 goals and conceded 10. Westerlo is a team that simply cannot defend but that is always going forward in big numbers, always tries to create things and score goals.
I’m expecting the typical end of season game with not too much at stake where both will just play an open game, try to score some goals and the one who scores the most in the end does win the game.
👉 Best Bet: Both Teams To Score & Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.84 (Unibet)
Match Preview: Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal (Saturday, 20th May 2023, 17:30)
Our Expert: @Pete_Tscherewik
Arsenal travel to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday in what promises to be a free-flowing, attacking contest between the two sides.
Forest can secure their top-flight status for another season with a win here, while Arsenal must win to mathematically hold on to their slimmest hopes of the title as they rely on Manchester City to slip up with two games to go.
Steve Cooper’s side have the 12th best home record in the league (worst away) and the last two on home soil have seen seven and four goals scored. Forest’s approach has been rather gun-ho at both ends this season and Arsenal will be looking to take advantage of that here.
The Gunners take an average of 15.8 shots per game this season while Forest concede 14.8. The hosts have conceded 14, 19, 14, 17, 18 and 22 shots in their last six which bodes well for this one
Arsenal are likely to be without Gabriel Martinelli but should have more than enough attacking threat to go at the hosts’ goal and given the significance of the game for both sides, we should see plenty of attacking intent throughout.
👉 Best Bet: Over 14.5 Shots For Arsenal @ 1.95 (Unibet)
Match Preview: Bayern Munich vs RB Leipzig (Saturday, 20th May 2023, 17:30)
Our Expert: @scottythorn21
It’s a crucial weekend in the race for the Bundesliga. It has been far from plain sailing for Bayern Munich this season as they have looked to continue their domestic dominance. Bayern have had a stranglehold on the title since Jurgen Klopp’s tenure at Borussia Dortmund. However, this season they have been unable to set a relentless pace and the crown is firmly up for grabs with two games remaining. They take on RB Leipzig this weekend.
Leipzig are third and need the points in their race to qualify for next season’s Champions League. Leipzig haven’t beaten Bayern in their last 11 meetings. However, the sides drew earlier this season and this would be enough to damage their opponent’s title aspirations.
This is a huge game for Bayern. Thomas Tuchel took charge in the middle of the season and he won’t want to be the man that allowed the title to slip through his fingers. The side are averaging 27.5 shots per game since they brought in the new manager. This is slightly down on their season long average of 29 but it is well above what is required for this bet to land. Bayern had 23 shots when they hosted Leipzig last season and they should have an abundance of shots providing they don’t score too early on Saturday.
👉 Best Bet: Over 15.5 Shots For Bayern Munich @ 1.80 (Unibet)
Match Preview: Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron (Saturday, 20th May 2023, 22:00)
Our Expert: @PeteRyan04
Katie Taylor steps into the ring this weekend in her home country of Ireland against Chantelle Cameron.
Taylor is arguably the best female fighter on the planet right now, she has a perfect record of 22-0 with six knockouts to her name. Her latest victory came against Karen Elizabeth Carabajal where she took a unanimous decision victory in London. Taylor has a very strong amateur pedigree by winning European and world titles. Yet the highlight of her amateur career had to be winning the gold medal at the London 2012 games. The amateur success suggests that Taylor is a great technical boxer. All of this translated to an immense professional career. This is evident when looking at the world championships she has won. Taylor has proven that she can compete on the biggest of stages. This was illustrated when she defeated Amanda Serrano in a main event at Madison Square Garden. It is important to note that Taylor was originally meant to have a rematch with Serrano but due to injury the Puerto Rican fighter had to pull out. The 36-year-old will look to build her legacy with a victory in Dublin.
Like Taylor, Cameron is an undefeated fighter with a record of 17-0 and eight knockouts. Her last victory came against Jessica McCaskill where she won by unanimous decision. Cameron has spent some time at the amateur level, yet she wasn’t as successful as Taylor. The evidence for this is that she narrowly missed out on the 2016 Olympic games after losing by split decision in the world championships. Since turning professional, Cameron has become the undisputed super-lightweight champion. As previously stated, Cameron has eight knockouts which means she has a KO rate of 47.06%. Furthermore, this is a higher rate than her opponent Taylor.
It is likely that the fight will go the distance, and it is hard to bet against Taylor when it comes down to boxing ability. However, you could argue that the bookmakers are overlooking Cameron as at the end of the day she is an undisputed world champion. If the fight were to end in the distance it would likely be in the later rounds.
👉 Best Bet: Taylor to win on points- 8/13 (Paddy Power)
👉 Value Bet: Cameron to win- 13/8 (Paddy Power)
👉 Longshot: Taylor to win in rounds 9 or 10- 35/1 (Paddy Power)
