Bet - Lincoln vs Wycombe

15:00, Saturday, November 23rdh

This is a game that screams goals. Lincoln have seen o2.5 goals in 6/7 home games, while Wycombe have seen o2.5 goals in 7/8 away games.

The only time this has lost for both sides h/a is when they played a Wigan side that lacks goals and are resilient in defence.

Matt Bloomfields side are flying high at the top of the table, scoring at least twice in every game bar the 1-0 victories over Crawley and  Wigan. Lincoln have only failed to score at home to Wigan.

This is a game both teams will feel they can win, so don’t be surprised to see both go for the jugular in an entertaining clash

Bet - Ipswich vs Manchester United

16:30, Sunday, November 24th

Ruben Amorim’s arrival at Manchester United has been the big story in the Premier League this week and his arrival will bring about wholesale changes in the way the team set up.

The young Portuguese manager likes his teams to be aggressive and press from the front in a bid to sustain attacks. Amorim will be hoping a change to his favoured 3-4-3 formation can help his team achieve that aim.  Manuel Ugarte is a player who could benefit from that change,

Ugarte worked under Amorim and Sporting. His fantastic displays earned him a move to PSG but he never hit it off in the French capital. He has since made the switch to Manchester United and he showed just how important he could be in the 3-0 win over Leicester before the international break.

The Uruguayan will play a key role off the ball for Amorim. He was often asked to cover two players behind the initial press at Sporting. Ugarte’s ability to cover ground quickly and get stuck him make him suited to this role. He ranks in the top 1% of midfielders made per 90 minutes over the past year, averaging over 4 per game. He made eight tackles as United beat Leicester 3-0 before the international break.

Making an abundance of tackles inevitably leads to fouls. Ugarte is averaging a foul every 28 minutes played in England so far and he should see out the 90 minutes here.

  • Bet: Over 1.5 Fouls For Manuel Ugarte

  • Odds: 1.80 Bet365

  • Advised Stake: 1/3 Units

Bet - Eintracht Frankfurt vs Werder Bremen

17:30, Saturday, November 23rd

The evening encounter in Germany promises to provide entertainment. Eintracht Frankfurt welcomes Weder Bremen to Deutsche Bank Park.

Dino Toppmoller’s men have been superb in 24/25. An impressive 42 goals have arrived in ten league games, with 21 in just four matches at this venue. Frankfurt have scored in nine of ten league fixtures, with multiple strikes landing in seven outings. Earning clean sheets has been a rarity. Gladbach was the only side not to score despite racking up 1.74xG that afternoon. Eintracht Frankfurt have seen at least three goals in seven matches, with half of their ten clashes witnessing at least four.

Weder Bremen are the underdogs heading here, although I’m sure they’ll fancy their chances of picking up points. Ole Werner’s side have excelled on their travels this term. Bremen have bagged 13 times in five away days whilst shipping 12 at the other end. Their away results read as follows: (4-1, 2-4, 3-4, 1-2, 2-2). That’s pure entertainment.

With two sides excellent in forward areas, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t see another thriller. The pair have two shutouts between them this term. Omar Marmoush has performed exceptionally. The Egyptian has 11 goals in the Bundesliga. Goals are shared on the Bremen side with 11 different scorers. Backing BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals (1.80) looks a strong selection.

  • Bet: BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

  • Odds: 1.80 Bet365

  • Advised Stake: 1/3 Units

Bet - Ipswich vs Manchester United

16:30, Sunday, November 24th

Ruben Amorim is settling into his new role at Old Trafford. With players returning from international duty today and tomorrow, they’ll be greeted by their new manager. I believe that moving on from Erik ten Hag to Amorim is a positive step, particularly when it comes to tactics.I can see Manchester United making progress under Amorim. The fans will get a sense of his style and philosophy right from the first match—a sharp contrast to what we saw under Ten Hag. Even after years in charge, it often felt like he was still figuring out how to approach certain Premier League games.Ipswich seems like the ideal opponent to begin this new chapter, especially when considering United’s record against newly-promoted sides:

In 2022/23, United comfortably defeated the newly-promoted teams Fulham, Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest both home and away—something they hadn’t achieved since Sir Alex Ferguson’s 2011/12 squad.

Last season, they won five of six matches against Luton, Burnley, and Sheffield United, with the only outlier being a 1-1 draw with Burnley.

This season, United won 3-0  over Southampton, followed by another 3-0 victory against Leicester just before the international break.

This is a spot where United tends to perform well. With Amorim now in charge, I’m optimistic they’ll bring a renewed intensity, driven by the desire to impress their new boss.I’ve settled on United win and Under 3.5 goals at 2.00. With the returning internationals and a busy schedule ahead, including Europa League next Thursday and an away trip to Everton next weekend, it feels like the perfect time to back Unders in some capacity in the coming weeks.
