Preview: Hamburg vs Hertha Berlin (Saturday, 19th August 2023, 19:30)
Our Expert: @MonsterHunch
A a battle of fallen greats here as a hapless Hertha travel to what will be a bouncing Volksparkstadion on Saturday night to face HSV.
Hamburg are absolutely desperate to clinch automatic promotion this season after yet more heartbreak at the back end of the last campaign and they’ve made a solid start with a win against promotion rivals Schalke and were very unlucky not to take all 3 against Karlsruhe.
Hertha on the other hand have had a hapless start to the season recording back to back losses and sit rooted to the bottom of Bundesliga 2.
I fancy this to be a lively affair with Frank Willenborg in the middle, cards should flow.

Match Preview: Aston Villa vs Everton (Saturday, 20th August 2023, 14:00)
Our Expert: @MaccasValueBets
Aston Villa saw turmoil at St James' Park, where their game with Newcastle was anticipated to be a tight and calculated affair, however Alexander Isak fired Newcastle into the lead in just 5 minutes and this was just the start of Villa’s problems.
Tyrone Mings suffered a injury which could see him out for an extended period of time. In the short term, his absence was from the team was evident. The claret and blue army seemingly sunk into disarray conceding 5.
It would be harsh to say Villa played poor. They didn’t when going forwards, but despite the attacking prowess from summer signings, Unai Emery’s team utilised a very high line. And seemingly with Pau Torres filling in for Mings, it fell to pieces rather fast.
Pau Torres was one of La Liga’s star defenders attracting interest from the likes of Barcelona. Still though, he hasn’t had long to adapt to Emery’s tactics.
At the other end of the pitch, Villa have got Ollie Watkins. A player who finished off last season in great form. Watkins knows how to propel himself into dangerous areas but lacks the finishing ability of some of the top strikers.
Moussa Diaby should see plenty of ball time. Villa recruited Diaby from Leverkusen for £52 Million pounds. Considering the talent he’s shown in the Bundesliga, preseason and the opening game of the year,

Match Preview: Tottenham vs Man United(Saturday, 19th August 2023, 17:30)
Our Expert: @TiptserJWins
Manchester United travel to North London Saturday tea-time as Erik Ten Haag’s side face Tottenham Hotspur.
United certainly rode their luck in their opener vs Wolves, a shaky 1-0 win to say the least. The away side managed 23 shots at old Trafford on Monday, accumulating a total of 2.14 xG and were unlucky to come away empty handed.
Spurs on the other hand drew 2-2 away at Brentford in Postegoclou’s first league game in charge. All four goals came in an extended first half last time out, with new signing James Maddison assisting both of the goals on his Tottenham debut.
The bookies have BTTS as short as 1.5 Saturday evening and it's clear to see why. Postegoclou’s possession based football will give teams a chance on the counter but they should not be worried at the other end of the pitch when you consider the fortune of United’s clean sheet on Monday. I am with the bookies on this one and am expecting goals. Adding in over 2.5 goals to BTTS is best priced at 1.8 with Bet 365, my play in what should be a thrilling game.
👉 Best Bet: BTTS and Over 2.5 goals @ 4/5
Match Preview: Shenzhen vs Nantong Zhiyun (Saturday, 19th August 2023, 12:35)
Our Expert: @mgsbets
We are looking at the bottom 2 teams of the Chinese Super League who will both be desperate to get points here as they look to avoid relegation.
Shenzhen are yet to keep a clean sheet in 22 games this season and when they play at home are capable of grabbing a goal. Shenzhen have scored in 7 of their 10 home games this season, so BTTS has also hit in 7 of their 10 at home.
Nantong Zhiyun have conceded in 20 of their 22 games this season and have conceded in all 11 of their away games. They have a really solid BTTS record with it hitting in 8 of their last 10 games and their last 4 away games.
The last game between these 2 sides saw the game end 1-1 and I can see a repeat of the same scoreline occurring.

Match Preview: West Ham vs Chelsea (Sunday, 20th August 2023, 16:30)
Our Expert: @scottythorn21
West Ham take on Chelsea this Sunday. Both teams drew on the opening day of the season and in search of their first win here.
The Hammers were in a relegation battle for much of last season but their triumph in the Europa Conference League ensured the season was a success. They have since lost Declan Rice and have began rebuilding their squad.
Chelsea have turned to Mauricio Pochettino after last season’s disastrous campaign. The Blues have spent big since Roman Abramovich sold the club but they could only manage a 12th place finish. Improvement is expected this term. Pochettino and this band of talented young players look capable of living up to those expectations.
The Blues looked weak defensively in the opening stages of their match against Liverpool. However, they rallied and looked the stronger team after the first 30 minutes. I’m expecting them to build on that here and put in a solid attacking display.
West Ham should be on the back foot for much of this game. They averaged 7.95 goal kicks per game last season; the fourth most of any side. Despite their woes, Chelsea forced the 8th most goal kicks from their opponents. They should be a greater attacking threat this season so expect the numbers against to rise.
The Hammers had 11 goal kicks in their opening match against Bournemouth. They are also averaging 9.4 goal kicks per game across their last five matches with Chelsea. The Blues forced 10 goal kicks against Liverpool last weekend.

Match Preview: Liverpool vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 19th August 2023, 15:00)
Our Expert: @Pete_Tscherewik
For a second consecutive season, Liverpool failed to get their Premier League campaign off to a winning start - having to settle for a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a game that was dominated by the ongoing controversies surrounding the transfers of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
The Reds are expected to put all of that behind them this weekend though for their first game of the campaign on home turf at Anfield. It remains to be seen which personnel will start from the off at 3pm but one thing that is a foregone conclusion is that Jurgen Klopp’s side will attack from the first whistle right through to the last.
Liverpool won this fixture last season at Anfield 9-0 and although that’s about as unlikely to happen again here as winning the lottery, the Reds will be looking to make a statement in this one.
Bournemouth have quietly gone about a good amount of business over the summer but Andoni Iraola and his side have been crippled with injuries already and it’s unlikely we’ll see a side much different from what they had out in 2022/23 - Liverpool can capitalise on this.
Again, with the likes of Salah, Jota, Diaz, Gakpo and Nunez all likely to play some form of a part in the fixture in the attacking areas, it’s hard to see Bournemouth being able to cope with the firepower going forward and backing Liverpool shots appeals here
