Match Preview: Bournemouth vs Newcastle (Saturday, 11th February 2023, 17:30)
Our Expert: Ben Ragg (@punters_corner_)
Newcastle head south to relegation threatened Bournemouth in a bid to get their top 4 hopes back on track having drawn 4 of their last 5 league games.
Bournemouth won’t face many tougher tests than against Newcastle. They have failed to score in 5 of their last 6 matches and the Premier league’s toughest defence awaits them on Saturday evening.
One thing that stands out when watching Newcastle play is how aggressive they are without the ball, giving their opponents very little time on the ball in transition.
Kieran Trippier is one of the most aggressive in the team and has hit at least 3 tackles in 11 of his last 15 matches (73.3%).
He will likely be up against Jaidon Anthony who is a keen dribbler and will look to get at Trippier. Trippier hit 4 tackles against him when they met in the League Cup at the end of December.
At odds of 2.5, Trippier to hit 3 tackles looks a nice bet. Given his recent numbers and his opponent.
👉 Best Bet: Kieran Trippier Over 2.5 Tackles @ 2.5 (Via Bet365 Bet Builder)
Match Preview: Cardiff vs Middlesbrough (Saturday, 11 February 2023, 15:00)
Our Expert: Tom Winch (@WinchySFP)
Middlesbrough have been one of the best sides in the Championship for a while now. Michael Carrick’s side have won 10/14 matches since his arrival which has seen them push up to 3rd in the table.
Boro’ have won the xG battle in 11 of their last 14 games, they possess plenty of attacking talent and have the divisions top scorer in Chuba Akpom. The forward has scored 16 in 23 appearances but 12 of those have arrived since Carrick’s appointment.
Cardiff are in a mess, they’ve earned just 5 points in their previous 10 league matches scoring just 4 goals in that time. They’ve lost each of their recent 3 games by a 1-0 scoreline.
The hosts have averaged just 0.7 goals per 90 this season, this least in the entire Championship. They’ve scored just once in the last seven so it’s clear that things aren’t quite right at the club.
I’m expecting Middlesbrough to leave Wales with a decent result, the Asian line appeals at a strong price.
👉 Best Bet: Middlesbrough -0.25 Asian Handicap @ 1.860 (Bet 365)
Match Preview: Twente vs Volendam (Sunday, 12th February 2023, 15:45)
Our Expert: Christian (@Kjaer_bet)
(Kjaer accidentally picked a game for Sunday instead of Sat. Like the professionals we are... we're throwing him under the bus for it.)
FC Twente hosts FC Volendamn in one of the most exciting football matches of the year!
Twente are currently in 5th place, and are undefeated since October last year! This is mainly due to a very good defence. They've only conceded 13 goals, making them the team with the least conceded goals in the league!
Volendam are expectedly in the relegation battle, just above the relegation zone, so every point counts.
Of Twentes three home matches this year, and Volendams three away matches (one of them being in Amsterdam), zero of those have had more than three goals.
I do reckon we'll see Volendam park the bus, as they did against Ajax, in an attempt of getting a point for the draw, and potentially looking for the three points from counter-attacks.
👉 Best Bet: Under 3.25 Goals @ 1.93 (Kambi/Unibet)
The asian line can help pick more interesting angles that create a less risky line, helping manage our bankroll better. Here's a breakdown of this bet:
0-2 goals = Win3 goals = Half Win4 goals = Loss
Match Preview: Fulham vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 11th February 2023, 15:00)
Our Expert: @MonsterHunch
MonsterHunch delivered profit from last weeks bets and is back again with another bet exclusively from his private group where he shares his best bets:
Who would’ve thought that Notts Forest would be 2nd in the form table in the premier league after the slow start they made! 20+ signings and finally they’re starting to look like a team rather than a team of individuals.
Fulham have also punched way above their weight all season playing some great football with players like Palinha really standing out.
The first game between these two earlier in the season was an absolute cracker which produced 6 yellow cards from the Australian referee Jared Gilet who is usually quit lenient.
We have another referee in charge here who can tend to frustrate you whenever you bet on overs (Andy Madley) but I feel this game will be end to end and the tackles should be flying in and I think this will turn his hand and we shall see some cards.
👉Best bet: Both teams to receive a card and over 3.5 cards @ 1.8 (Bet365)
Match Preview: Telford vs Fylde (Saturday, 11th February 2023, 15:00)
Our Expert: Pete (@Pete_Tscherewik)
AFC Fylde have consistently found themselves in the Vanarama National League playoff places since being relegated in the 2019/20 season and are looking to go one better this time around with all eyes firmly set on winning the title.
Nick Haughton has been the jewel in the Coasters’ crown again this season with 15 league goals (26 in 2021/22) and his quality alone could be enough to make the difference against Telford this weekend.
The Bucks have only twice at home this season and have secured all three points only once in their last ten games with manager Kevin Wilkin really struggling to turn their fortunes around.
Adam Murray’s side have had an extended rest having been without a game on Tuesday and against a team with the worst home record in the division should have more than enough firepower to win here.
👉 Best Bet: AFC Fylde to win @ 1.83 William Hill
Match Preview: Leeds vs Manchester United (Tuesday, 7 February 2023, 19:45)
Our Expert: @TipsterJWins
It was only a few days ago these two sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Old Trafford, Leeds and Manchester United lock horns once again but this time at Elland Road. I've got a 4/5 Bet builder which should go close Sunday afternoon.
Wilfried Gnonto has been one of the signings of the season for Leeds United at just 3.8 million. I am backing him to have at least one shot once again. He scored within the first minute at Old Trafford on Wednesday, and has managed at least one shot in all of his 7 League starts, hitting 2 or more on five occasions with an average of 1.85 spg across his last 7.
Leeds average by far the most tackles per game in the division and I am not expecting this to slow down despite a change in manager, they managed 30 tackles on Wednesday vs Man United so 21 is certainly achievable again. They average 23.2 tackles per game this season in the Premier League, which is 3.2 tackles more than 2nd highest Chelsea!
I expect the atmosphere to play its part here at Elland Road as Leeds continue on their bid for survival, getting stuck in will definitely be part of the managers plans.
👉 Best Bet: Gnonto over 0.5 shots and over 20.5 Leeds tackles @ 1.80 (Bet365 Bet Builder)
Match Preview: Wolfsberger vs Tirol (Saturday, 11th February 2023, 16:00)
Our Expert: @mgsbets
We are visiting Austria today which is normally a consistent place for goals!
When looking at Wolfberger AC's and Tirol's respective home and away forms, it paints a clear picture of goals which I think will be repeated in this match up.
7 of Wolfbergers 8 home games have seen over 2.5 goals and BTTS. During this period, their games have averaged 4.13 goals, with them scoring 1.63 and conceding 2.5. The only time this failed to come in was their first home game of the season, meaning this the bet in question has won in their last 7 home games!
Tirol have seen over 2.5 goals and BTTS in 7 of their 8 Away games this season. During this period, their games have averaged 3.75 goals with them scoring 2.13 and conceding 1.63. The only time was not achieved was when they failed to score against Salzburg, who are the best team in the country by far!
Whilst not always a good metric alone for a bet, it is nice to see historically this has also won in 6 of the last 7 meetings between these 2 sides - showing these games aren't cagey affairs.
👉 Best Bet: Over 2.5 goals and BTTS @ 1.8 (Bet365)
