Match Preview: Sint-Truiden vs Seraing (Saturday, 18th March 2023, 17:15)

Seraing look to be condemned to relegation. The gap with a safe spot is 8 points with 5 matches to play. They are playing like a team that has thrown the towel already. Lately, they are looking so blunt going forward and are struggling to create anything. Against Antwerp, Cercle Brugge, KV Mechelen, Charleroi they lost comprehensively. The winning margins were only 2 or 3 goals each time as their opponents decided to get their foot off the gas once the two goal margin was on the scoresheet.

They are also picking up so many stupid red cards which is making things difficult for them of course. Against Antwerp it was Daniel Opare who saw red. And he will be suspended for this one.

Sint Truiden aren’t the most adventurous team so I don’t see them trashing Seraing. However,  Sint Truiden is a solid unit so they should be able to see off this Seraing side that is looking pretty toothless lately. Sint Truiden has quality enough up front to find a goal or two against the easily conceding Seraing defense.

Sint Truiden need a 3 points if they want a last chance to compete for a top 8 spot. This is the perfect opponent for them to get it here. They should win this one, hopefully by a big a margin. Last year they beat them 2-0 at home, I’m expecting something similar here.

👉 Best Bet: Sint Truiden -1 Asian Handicap @ 2.05 (Bet365)

Match Preview: Middlesbrough vs Preston (Saturday, 18th March 2023, 16:00)

Our Expert: (@TorresBetsHA)

We  travel to England this weekend where Middlesbrough are hosting Preston. Preston are pretty solid away but there’s one man who’s performing extraordinarily well when playing home; Chuba Akpom.

He’s already the leading goalscorer with 23 goals on 30 appearances. The real interesting fact is that since November, there’s only one match in which he did not score while playing in front of a home crowd. This was against against Millwall. If we are looking overall, when Middlesbrough is at home and he is playing at least 60 min, he scored in 77% of games.

👉 Best Bet: Chuba Akpom to score @ 2.38 - Bet365

Match Preview: Brentford vs Leicester (Saturday, 17th March 2023, 15:00)

Our Expert: (@TipsterJWins)

Brentford play host to relegation-threatened Leicester City Saturday afternoon. The Bees are looking to extend their current 9-game unbeaten run in the Premier League, while The Foxes look for more points to steer them away from the drop.

Ivan Toney makes the first part of our bet builder, and we will be backing the Brentford talisman to have over 0.5 shots on target. He is averaging 1.3 shots on target per League game this campaign and has 3 goals in his last 5 games. Combining this with over 1.5 shots for James Maddison gives us a 6/5 shot with Bet 365. The England midfielder is averaging 3 shots per game this season, with this bet landing in 5 of his last 6 starts, where he also managed 5 shots last time out vs Chelsea.

👉 Best Bet: @ 2.20 Toney over 0.5 Shots on target and James Maddison over 1.5 Shots - Bet365

Match Preview: Barnet vs Notts County (Saturday, 18th March 2023, 15:00)

Our Expert: (@Pete_Tscherewik)

Notts County came into the 2022/23 National League season as the side expected to challenge for the title with Wrexham and Luke Williams’s side have more than matched them with less than ten games to go.

Much of their magic has come from attacking areas with the obvious standout in Macaulay Langstaff; 36 league goals along with Ruben Rodrigues (16) and Cedwyn Scott (14). Notts are the league’s lead scorers with 96.

Barnet find themselves in 6th at the moment and have quietly been creeping up the table in recent weeks. The Bees have two wins in their last eight league games, the first of those eight games was a 4-1 defeat in the reverse fixture though.

The hosts are arguably where they are because of their own attacking threat but equally their style of play has lead them into conceding almost as many goals as they’ve scored (68-60).

Eight of Notts’ last nine wins have seen O2.5 goals so there is plenty of reason to believe there will be goals here and that they can take all three points back to Meadow Lane.

👉 Best Bet: Notts County to win and Over 1 goal in the match @1.80 (Bet 365)
